If anyone needs a prompt to get the creative juices flowing...

"1. Brainstorm all the reasons you can think of for not getting out of bed. What is it about your day that you don't want to face? Get into your most negative frame of mind to imagine every possible thing that is wrong and might go wrong out there.

"2. Start a poem, story, or essay in which you justify your decision to stay in bed by including as many of the reasons you have come up with as possible."
