Debbie, I see one of your profile pics is from the Burn 24. I am doing that race this year with some other riders. Looking forward to it. First time at the Burn.

It is an awesome experience, Vic. You'll have fun. I went into it completely unprepared and did way better than I expected. The truth is you can't prepare for something like this...it's all mental. Solo is awesome but I bet a team would be more fun. :-)

Hey All, Michael is pretty excited about the size of the group and is also asking for some of the 'advanced' and 'intermediate' riders to help lead the group. Anyone willing to help the ride tonight and make sure everyone has a good time? Just post up here and\or let Michael know.

My tires have a tire pressure range of 40-65. I was told by others that they drop their pressure to around 30. To you more experienced riders, does 30 sound about right given my tire pressure range?

    April 19, 2013

    • Jennifer

Thank you guys for your input! I'll drop it down and try it out on Wednesday!

      April 22, 2013

    • David H.

Unless you have very skinny wheels\tires, your tire pressure should be around the low 30s. I'm 210# and my tire pressure never goes above 35. You want the back tire to have more pressure than the front because there is more weight in the back and you don't want to pinch flat or roll the tire in turns. Too much tire pressure will slide out and feel like wagon wheels on the trail.
