I had a blast, and other than a little construction runoff the trails were in great shape, and they were pretty fun!

Thank you Sonya for visiting the Triangle and imparting your wisdom and experience. Thanks to Chris Stanz, David Swann and all the other Performance Bike staff for putting this on and inviting people to join. It was a great event. This is a Performance Bike event and so they may have staff volunteering but if Performance needs help, TORC is ready to help.

The weather is looking good. I feel the trail will dry sufficiently for the ride and will update tmtb before I head out. So I am assuming Christopher is keeping the schedule as advertised.

Remember to support your local Performance Bike shop as well as all local bike shops.

It sounds like the trails are mostly in good shape so I'm going to head over there and scout things out. Fingers crossed, but I'm thinking the ride is on.

Will there be an update on trail conditions this afternoon OR should folks just show up with bikes and hope for the best?

I'd be willing to lead a slower group if needed.

Does the seminar part start at 7:30 rain or shine? Or if ride is cancelled/shortened would seminar be earlier?

    May 21, 2013

    • Christopher

We're still shooting for 7:30 for the seminar and REALLY hoping for a day full of 80 degree sunshine to dry out those trails.

hoping things don't get too "Looney" or we'll be on the trail all night long

O.M.G. I need all of you to wish me the best day at work ever. I'll never make the ride, but would love to make the presentation after.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
