Natty Greene's Southern Sunday Ride

Meet at RallyPoint sport grill at 1837 N. Harrison Ave a few minutes before 2:00.  Ride a group ride for a couple of hours or split off on your own.  Finish your ride by 4pm and return to RallyPoint.  At 4:30pm the buffet will be ready.  The buffet is only $1 for riders.  Southern Pale Ale pints for $2.75.

Sponsored by Natty Greene's Brewing

The purpose of these rides is to bring together the mountain biking community.  So ride your bike then come hang out and meet other bikers.

Please Note: these rides are organized by Natty Greene's and Rally Point.  They are not official TORC rides with a designated leader/sweeper and a set route.  The only two legitimate trails around the Rally Point Sports Grill area is LCCP and Umstead.  Please refer publicly to only these two trails in conversation.  The ride location is generally chosen by the people that show up right before the ride.  Most weeks the crowd is mostly intermediate riders and the route is typically about 16 miles.

If you have concerns about keeping up, or the difficulty of the trails you may want to post a comment to see if other people of a similar ability are planning to attend.

I saw the same snake! :-). Sounds like Ruthie had fun anyway! And for future reference, know that of course you can start from ORC. That hill climb back is too tough for a 10 year old (and 39+ y/o) and you certainly don't have to meet at RP beforehand in order to enjoy the after ride eating festivities!! I wish i had told you earlier!! No beer for Ruthie, though!

Snake! Snake! Ruthie almost ran one over in Crabtree and that was enough to turn us back.

Hello all :) I'll be coming for the ride tomorrow and was wondering if there were others who are as slow as me attending. Let me know :) Take care.

Hey Rich or Jim Hess...if I don't make it, can you pass by the ORC bridge around 2:15 to pick up Missy? Cute, fast, can't miss her. If not, no worries....she may be running too late to catch you guys.

Sorry, will not make it. The wife and i were on the Cape Fear yesterday all day! It was fun...but exhausting and a bit of sunburn has us licking our wounds, not to mention all the paddling. Will make it soon!

I'm trying to convince my 10 year old daughter to come tomorrow. Anyone consider bringing a kid to ride with? If she comes I'll park down on ORC and will probably do some time on the greenway before meeting back at Rally Point.
