TORC Lake Crabtree- Friday night social ride

  • White Subaru Outback parked at the Parking Lot that is above the boat ramps. This is the last parking lot in park.
  • TORC Lake Crabtree Ride and feel free to go to Rally Point afterward. Clothes are not optional.

    Directions and trail info:  Meet at the parking lot above the boat ramps.  This is the parking lot nearest the Trail head for Loop 5 and the Lake Connector Trails.

    Time: 6:30 pm. (Ride by 6:35.)

    Type of ride: All skills social ride

    Speed: 5 - 8 mph

    Distance: between 6 - 12 miles or less

    Time spent riding: 1 - 1.5 hours

    Difficulty: Lake Crabtree is one of the easiest trails to ride with ride arounds for all obstacles.

    Details: No-drop ride for all riders, we can split into groups per experience / skill level if necessary. This ride is for the Beginner Rider. Lake Crabtree County Park is a great location for rides. Expect easy to slightly moderate elevation changes. All trail obstacles have ride a rounds. Pace will be dependent on the experience and skill levels of the attendees.

    You must wear a helmet while riding on the trails. Make sure you have plenty of water.

    Oops. Just drove back into Raleigh and I'm afraid it's a no-brainer. The ride is cancelled. Crabtree is currently closed and no way will they open up after that last downpour. Sorry guys. Hope to see you next week!
