Hey Mike! Just a heads up...in my last two experiences in hosting a New Light ride, I've had beginners show up. When I am available, I can certainly sign up to help so that the slower/new to this trail (or any trail) will have fun too. If not, you may want to consider posting an additional comment to clarify level/speed of the ride. And yes, "intermediate" and all the info was in the posting. :-) The problem is that level can be so subjective...especially if you haven't seen the various trails that exist. I may host a get to know New Light slow ride soon to help with that. Not this weekend though. I just cleaned my bike. ;-). And yes, my ride will have rest stops and refreshments after. I'm hardcore into that stuff.

Oops, sorry, I clicked Enter lol. Let's try this again, Hello Debbie :) I hope all is well. That would be a great idea to introduce us to that trail, I haven't been there and would like to try it but not going to join this group because of my child carrier lol. Let me know if that's ok with you (organizing a ride to this trail for us) :) Take care.

People underestimate some trails and their avg speed. I know I've done it before. I would add:

Take your avg fast speed at LCCP and then drop about 4 mph's off that average before thinking of joining a New Light ride worded with these details.

Good idea, DH! That will definitely work for those who've ridden singletrack before... and have a speedometer. ;-)

If anything, might be a good weekend to take out the SUP board I saw on your car last week, Debbie.

Indeed! I have a nice urban destination ride planned on the ATT...but maybe I'll make it out to the lake. See you on the trails! :-)

Will there be rest stops to regroup and refreshments afterwards?

Isn't this going to be just a hair over 2 hours as we hold pace?

I'll be out of town this weekend, but will keep my eyes open for other weekend rides- I would like to give it a try!
