Got there early and tried to get a little riding in before the Meetup. Didn't work out so well. Flat tire and brake issues. So I didn't get to try and keep up with Steve. :-)

Super proud of my daughter for leading part of the ride group tonight! She stole her mom's full suspension bike tonight and just kept getting more comfortable on it and riding faster as the evening went on! I think I'm going to be buying a replacement bike for my wife.

I'm getting a new bike Friday afternoon. Hopefully it will be ready in time to ride. This will also be my first time with clipless pedals.

Going to pick up the bike once I get off work, hopefully practice a bit before the ride so I don't embarrass myself too much haha.

Still looking for an organizer that is joining this ride to step up and take it over!! I will not be able to make it due to work. I know these Wednesday & Friday night rides don't really need an organizer anymore b/c of all the regulars, but it's good to have one just in case!

And by the way, this is the last scheduled Friday night ride.

I can do the beginners...if you need me?

      September 5, 2013

    • Debbie

I would love for you to work with the beginners, Steve!!! :-) The one problem is that no official organizer is signed up for this ride yet, so I may need to cancel.
