Briar Chapel trail building work day

  • Park on Bennett Mountain road. First right after crossing road bridge. Look for a red Nissan Frontier
  • **Pre and Post ride:  7:45am and ride after the work day at aprox. 12:15pm**

    Time:  8:45am  There will be a brief safety meeting, handing out of tools and walking out to the trail work location.  I will focus on a strict three hour work day.

    TORC will provide tools.  Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes good for trail work conditions, bring water and gloves.

    There will be a ride afterward if anyone is interested.  I may not be leading the ride but should be able to set up a ride leader.

    Probably have to cancel this work day. Whatever soil we uncover while working will be just too saturated to build any good bench or trail tread.
