Briar Chapel trail building work day

**Pre and Post ride:  7:45am and ride after the work day at aprox. 12:15pm**

Time:  8:45am  There will be a brief safety meeting, handing out of tools and walking out to the trail work location.  I will focus on a strict three hour work day.

Hand building new trail.

TORC will provide tools.  Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes good for trail work conditions, bring water and gloves.

Running late or need directions: E-mail me or call me at[masked]

There will be a ride afterward if anyone is interested.  I may not be leading the ride but should be able to set up a ride leader.

Hope to see a good turn out.

Maybe I need to start taking a page out of David's playbook. I'll just organize the Harris work days, then let everyone else show up and do the work. I'm just the "event organizer".

That's great news. Sorry again about flaking. I was really looking forward to the work after being cooped up in the house for a while. Oh well, I'll be there next time. Thanks to all you that did show.

Well, Briar Chapel was not to be denied. Thanks to Rob, Robby, Mark, Courtney and Dustin, we finished off the upper section of Bennett Mountain. Despite having to call me and get me out of bed.

Thanks, guys and a gal, appreciated your help today.

I'm going to shoot for the pre ride and will probably be slower than usual. New baby at home and it's been about two months since being out on the bike.
