Announcing a new Meetup for Triangle Off Road Cyclists (TORC)!

What: Lake Crabtree Beginner Ride (Moved from Harris Lake)

When: October 31,[masked]:00 AM

Lake Crabtree Community Park

Since Harris closed and Lake Crabtree is open I will lead a beginner ride at Lake Crabtree if anyone would like to join, but I changed the time to 11:00 to allow people to adjust their schedule

Ride Details
Ride Leader: Paul
Arrive Time: 11:00AM We will meet in the very back parking lot. Follow the road after you enter Lake Crabtree to the very end and park above the boat ramp area.
Ride Starts: 11:15AM (please be ready to ride by this time).
Tech Skill: Beginner only please. None beginner riders will be paired with other beginners. These rides are specifically for true beginners that are learning how to either ride mtn. bikes or ride on trails for the first time or few times.
Ride Speed: This will be a relaxed NO DROP ride.
Planned Distance: 3 or 4 miles. For those that wish to continue riding longer, we will continue.
Planned Duration: 1 - 1.5 hrs
Other Details: Safety Helmet is required. Please bring some sort of hydration.

If trails are closed due to wet conditions, the ride will be cancelled. Please call the park to check if the trail is open (919) 460-3390.

Go towards RDU airport on I-40 and exit onto Aviation Parkway going south. Crabtree County Park entrance is on the left. Follow the road after you enter Lake Crabtree to the very end and park above the boat ramp area.
