Announcing a new Meetup for Triangle Off Road Cyclists (TORC)!

This ride is schedule every Thursday for the month of April starting Aprit 1st.

What: Lake Crabtree - All Skills Ride

When: Thursday, April 1,[masked]:45 PM

Ride Coordinator: Swin Dunbar. I will be asking for ride leader volunteers if we break into groups.

Arrive Time: 5:45PM

Ride Starts: 6:00PM (please be ready to roll by this time)

Planned Trail: Depends on group

Tech Skill: most if not all obstacles have "ride-arounds"

Tech Skill: some relatively gradual non-technical climbs

Physical Ability: We will group up based on riders preferred speed/ability.

Ride Speed: We will group up based on riders preferred speed/ability.

Ride Speed: ALL groups are NO DROP. We will group up based on riders preferred speed/ability.

Planned Distance: At least 6+ miles, more depending on group(s).

*If the trails are closed due to wet conditions, this ride will be cancelled.

Go towards RDU airport on I-40 and exit onto Aviation Parkway going south. Crabtree County Park entrance is on the left. Boat rental parking area, second paved parking area on the right.

Here is the plan (subject to change based on the group's ability and ride leaders): Group will be polled for ability/endurance at start of ride and sub groups will be formed accordingly. Total ride is from 6:00 to 8:00 (with optional bail outs based on riders stated endurance levels) and participants need to be out of the park by 8:30.
