This year's Twisted Wheel Scooter Rally is going to be bigger and better than the previous two years. Our plans include a raffle for a Vespa LX 50 as well as a huge group ride and skills contests. There will be much more including scooter test rides of Vespa, Honda, Lambretta, Kymco and PGO models.
In order to speed up the process of the test rides, it would be highly highly recommended that you bring photocopies of your driver's license if you wish to arrange a test ride during the rally. Several copies would be a good idea if you were planning on test riding multiple makes of scooters.
Hope to see you all there this year.
We will start at 10 am at Motoretta Eurosport with coffee, snacks and registration. The coffee and light snacks are care of Motoretta (thanks Doug
)
We expect that our group ride shall commence around 11 am or so.
Upon return from the group ride lunch will be available for purchase. This year's lunch will be organic hamburgers by Fresh Wood Grill.
In the afternoon we will sell memberships including renewals, Twisted Gear, TMSC Gear, offer skills contests with prizes for the winners and sell raffle tickets for the Vespa LX 50. Proceeds of the raffle go towards the Food Bank.
One FREE raffle ticket will be offered to each non scooterist attending the rally riding as pillion with an attendee. Please RSVP for your passenger if you are bringing a guest who is interested in the free raffle ticket.
Please bring your cameras and video cam in order to document your day at the rally and take part in our photo and video contest.

This will be quite an interesting route, we will be riding over metal grate bridges and up and down hills and doing some twisties. We will encounter both rural and city views, it should be a great ride.
Count on the group ride to take each group about 2 and a bit hours. You will definitely want to start with a full tank and an empty bladder. Don't have too much coffee at Eurosport when you arrive. ; )
Please arrive at 10 am so we can get everyone registered in a timely fashion. Hopefully we can get the group rides going earlier than 11 am if people are on time.
I do not know which 50 cc scooters will be available for testing, however, the Ruckus has been mentioned.......
Wonderful event, and despite thinking the sky was going to open up on us- it held out! Plus I now have gas for the rest of the year! :) Thanks again!

Can someone give me some sort of route or ride level the rally will be doing?
I'm hoping Wendy can ride her own scoot up but I'm not sure of her ability to do the group ride.
