Aprilia Scarabeo 200
I have a 28km return trip to work every day, and riding a scooter makes it slightly more of a pleasure than a curse. It's also great to have the chance to cover larger distances than was possible on my bicycle, while still feeling connected to the outdoors in a way you never can in a car - well, perhaps in a convertible.
I've always been attracted to the look of scooters, especially Vespas, and it seemed like a good way to be able to expand my horizons. The next challenge is to finally convince my wife to ride pillion.
Got my M2 late summer 2010. No motorized riding experience before my RTI course.
Late Spring 2012, I travelled from Toronto to Door County, Wisconsin via Sault Ste Marie on my Derbi Boulevard 150 over two days. It was a great trip, but after returning, I decided that it would have been even more enjoyable on a somewhat faster scooter. Hence my upgrade to the Scarabeo 200 which I'm thrilled with.
Scarabeo 200 rider and crash test human. This has to stop.
Great group - they really know how to ride in style!
