Online Advocacy

About the Meetup:

Please join us on Tuesday, February 3rd for a jargon-free talk on the basics of online advocacy campaigns.

The session is intended for anyone who wants to run effective advocacy campaigns online - no tech experience required! The focus is on the strategy and tactics of effective online campaigns, not the specific tools available (although these will be mentioned).

This presentation will cover the basics, including:
- why online advocacy campaigns are not primarily about technology
- the key elements for moving advocacy campaigns online
- the basics of effective campaign websites and supporter engagement
- resources to learn more and keep you inspired

If your organization is looking to move your campaigns online, this introduction to the basics is a good place to start.

About the presenter:

Eric Squair (http://eric.squair.ca...) has over ten years of communications and campaigning experience, working with organizations ranging from political parties to international NGOs to small advocacy campaigns.

    hey!
just wondering how long this session is running for? I work in Scarborough so I probably won't be able to make it until 6pm - 6:15pm.
    Thanks!
