The tips you gave me about Canadian ISPs

Hello devs!

When I presented myself at the meetup Wednesday evening, I got some very interesting tips for internet service providers in Toronto. Didn't have time to take notes standing up in front of all of you, sorry about that. Could you please help me by dropping a link or two to your recommendations? Also, I think someone mentioned knowing networking people at one of the companies?

Thanks for a great meetup and hope to see you again next time!

PS. Extra info, in case anyone had follow-up question regarding the details.

I'm currently trying to convince my house mates to switch to a better plan than Rogers cable. We live close to Harbord & Spadina, if that matters regarding availability.

Current cable plan with Rogers
Extreme: $61.99 plus modem rental and tax, 28/1Mbps, 120GB limit. Hit 160GB last month, which doubled the cost to $120 =(

Good tip, Patrick! I think a very high limit or unlimited option would be the best - I'll present this as an alternative to my house mates =)
