Show and promote your ART - visual or other

This will be our 2nd meetup and along with discussing spaces/ideas for getting our art OUT THERE, we will each show or demonstrate to the group what we do. Original work, photos, a recording or demonstration of a song, you choose the medium. We will visit one venue for showing art which is right in the same building - maybe you never knew it was there.
We will start the meeting indoors, but if the weather is as great as it is being lately, we can take it outdoors into Mel Lastman square.

Hi Folks- I have thought of some unusual ideas to show and promote art and sell it at the same time next time we meet. ( I am not sure how practical it is though!)

Nice to see more of the signed up people showed up last meeting! Was inspiring to see samples of everyone's creative efforts, and hope to see your work exhibited publicly (for free) in the venue provided. Next meeting will be in July, date soon TBA.

Shirley, we can have our work casually visible to the public while we have our meeting. It is not formally organized as an exhibition, but maybe it could turn into one? As for parking, I have parked for free on the sidestreets just east of Yonge. You can walk through the back entrance of Empress Walk that leads right down to the subway and across Yonge Street to where we meet.

Hi Kathryn: In reply to your email, yes I will be going and bring some artwork- however, if I am coming by TTC , it will be difficult to lug large pieces. Is there some free parking there? Or I might bring some photos of the artwork.. Are we going to show anything to the public at Mel Lastman square? A free group exhibition of members to show and interest the public? I hope other artists in this group can be persuaded as well.
