a form of art in which various materials such as photographs and pieces of paper or fabric are arranged and stuck to a backing.

When I lived in Central New York we had monthly collage nights where this amazing local collage artist would open up her house and all of her cut-out images for the community to come and create. We have been offered this great cafe to use as we wish and I just think this is a great meditative way of connecting with new minds and with the help of a focus topic this could help bring out new creative ways of expressions.

Each meetup will be held at the very cute eco-friendly fair trade Merchants of Green Coffee Cafe (2 Matilda street).

Everyone will be in charge of bringing the items they want to use to make their collages (pictures, flowers, magazines etc.)
If you want to bring extra for others to peruse then you are more than welcome.
