High Park Fall Colours - Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 @ 2 P.M.

High Park Fall Colours

It's that time of year again! Join us for a tour of High Park as we capture the trees in their autumn hues. The colours have really started to turn now and should be in full glory this weekend. Hopefully the weather will co-operate and it won't rain. Fingers crossed!

We will meet outside the main entrance of the park at Bloor St. and Colborne Lodge Drive at 2 P.M. Please make sure you show up before 2:15 if you want to walk with us. The nearest subway station is High Park, where you will exit East on High Park Ave, and then walk a block south to Bloor. Cross at the lights, and we will be on the corner. You can't miss us, look for people with cameras!

Our first stop will be Grenadier Pond. From there, we'll go where the mood takes us.

Afterwards, we will find a location to socialize, eat, and warm up!.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.

Will this be a rain or shine event?

    November 5, 2013

    • Stephen J.

Hey Kevin, yes it will be rain or shine unless it's raining really hard. I don't expect rain but I hope that answers your question. :)

Are there any leaves left on the trees? Just wondering as we were in Algonquin last month at it's peak. I have no leaves at all on any tree on my street. What kind of trees are in High Park?

    November 5, 2013

    • Stephen J.

Yes there are still leaves on the trees. There are maples, oaks, apens, poplars, etc.

I'm looking out my window at Moss Park (downtown Toronto) and I see plenty of leaves still! :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
