Geeky Drinks and Boardgames

For the past few years, we've had a ton of different events hosted by the Toronto Ruby Brigade - talk nights, book clubs, hack nights. One thing we haven't really had is a good way to socialize, and meet other people in the community.

Personally, I know of no better way to get to know someone than arguing over some fiddly rules in a tremendously nerdy boardgame like Settlers of Catan, Agricola, or Munchkin.

If you share a love of these sorts of games, please come on by to Influitive's offices. We'll provide pizza, snacks and drinks.

If you have a particular love for a game, and especially if you can bring one, make a note in the comments. I'll include what we have in the office.

Goodtimes playing ticket to ride. Cody had the longest train and three routes all by taking up the right side of the map...

For this month, I'll learn a bit about the boardgaming of growth hacking instead.

Snakes & Lattes would be a great location to host this type of event going forward. Here's a list of their games: http://www.snakesandlattes.com/pages/games. Just a thought!

Thanks Julie, snakes and lattes is great, but unfortunately last I checked they don't do advance bookings and it's busy enough that anything more than 5-6 people odds very hard to organize.

Sorry folks, I have another commitment that night. Have fun. Hope to see you next time.
