Our next tech talks night is taking place September 11th, 2012 at Bento Miso.

It is going to be a special night as it marks the 2 year anniversary of the Ruby Brigade hosting tech talks. We are also welcoming our first out of town speaker, PJ Hagerty.

Here is the lineup:

Ruby User Groups: Act Locally - Think Globally

PJ Hagerty from EngineYard and co-organizer of WNY Ruby will be giving a talk about Ruby User Groups and how to make a better community through outreach.

Just added, Tyler Poland will be giving a talk titled "Sustainable MySQL - Tuning and Optimizing Before Scaling". He gave it last night at WNY Ruby and we asked if he could share it with us as well.

Talk Proposals

We are always looking for new speakers to share their knowledge with the Toronto Ruby community. If you are interested, send your talk proposals to Kevin Faustino.
