I'll have some small TVM signs with me, and I will try to park our stuff on a bench near to the skating rentals side (sort of the west side of the rink). I will be wearing a blue coat and a white scarf. I will either be wearing a pink toque with earflaps or a blue and white hat with a snowflakey design on it. I hope everyone can find us!
Okay, so it's going to be a cold one this Saturday. Looks like it will be around -5 while we're skating, so dress warmly! We will huddle up with hot chocolates afterwards, probably at Dark Horse Espresso or Art Square Cafe (Art Square is open late).
I will try to keep our stuff on a bench near to the side where the skate rentals are. I'll have a couple signs on the benches... not sure if they'll keep well in the weather, but it'll be worth a shot. If you get there and can't find where we are, email [masked] and I'll get back to you right away. We will probably head over to the cafe around 6:30 or so.
One thing I really missed being able to do in the UK was go skating for free in the wintertime! Let's meet up and do a little good ol' fashioned Canadian ice skating at Nathan Phillips Square, followed by some vegan hot chocolate somewhere.
