By cleverly using glass as a medium combined with ideas inspired by the collection of ten short stories by Japanese author, Natsume Sōseki, Mr. Dominic Fondé presents his all new exhibition: "10 Nights of Dream".
Definitely a highlight, Mr. Dominic will be giving an Engraving Demonstration. As a professional glass artist who has been working with blown and engraved glass art for over ten years, he will be creating delightful pieces of glass art, right before our eyes! Japan Creative Centre has specially allocated 12 seats just for the members of Totemo Japan Meetup Group! So, RSVP soon to avoid disappointment ;)
After the demonstration, we'll proceed to have our dinner at Nana's Green Tea at Plaza Singapura. Green Tea is certainly the highlight here. So, if you are a matcha lover, you wouldn’t want to miss it! Renownedly featured as the ‘Japanese Starbucks’, its green tea leaves are imported from Kyoto only.
And after which, we'll be hosting our next meetup to the much acclaimed movie: The Wind Rises by Hayao Miyazaki. Do join us if you like awesome animation! Check out more info here: http://www.meetup.com/totemojapan/events/172087062/

Updates 4th April 2014
Mina-san, due to a change in venue to our second meetup following this one, we've decided to shift our dinner location to Shokudo Japanese Coffee House at Cineleisure Orchard instead. It's a tad bit nearer to JCC than Plaza Singapura is, so that might be a slight advantage in terms of traveling time. Apologize if this has caused you an inconvenience. See you all on saturday! ^_^
