Townhall Meetup

NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR: Fallon's Bar & Grill (on Olive near 170)
NEW DATE THIS YEAR: 2nd THURSDAY of each month.

The next Townhall Meetup will take place this coming THURSDAY (3/14)7-9 P.M. at Fallon's Bar & Grill, 9200 Olive Blvd, Olivette 63132 (just west of 170).  We will be ordering dinner individually off the menu beginning at 7 p.m., with the discussion starting after 7:30 p.m.

Also, please place on your calendar this ADDITIONAL MEETUP: One week from Thursday, 3/21, same time and same place.  This will be the FIRST meeting of our
new sister Meetup, "The New Underground Railroad".  This meetup provides a "safehouse" for Black Americans of Slave Descent (aka "African-Americans") who want to FINALLY become free, and fully enjoy the benefits of the American Experiment. Mason Weaver and I have now decided that it is desirable for EVERYONE in our group, regardless of melanin level, to attend meetings of our new sister Meetup, which will always take place the THIRD Thursday of the month, in addition to the Townhall meetups which will continue to meet the SECOND Thursday.  Like the original Underground Railroad, we want the help and support of people of ALL pigmentations.  FYI, we had planned to launch the sister Meetup last month, but it was cancelled -- that was the day of the big storm.

Now, back to this coming Thursday's Meetup.  Like the last few meetups at which we have been launching our new Black Liberation initiative, the format will be different.  Now that most of the original information has been shared, and our new direction is underway, we will resume meetings at which most of the time will involve group discussion.  I will give a brief presentation to bring new visitors up-to-speed, update the group on progress since the last meetup, and make available for sale Mason's recently republished book "It's OK to Leave the Plantation" ($20 with profits supporting our new national initiative).  But the rest of the time will be spent in group discussion.  And just like last time, while we will be booted from the private room at 9 p.m. to make way for a group that reenacts medieval battles, we can and will continue our own verbal warfare informally afterward, at the tables outside that room.

See you then!
