Perfect weather was welcomed by the 135 drivers that were on hand to drive the high banks of the legendary Daytona. What an awesome display of vehicles took place during our 3 day event. We even had an IRL car take to the track during 2 of the days. A big thanks to all the regular South Florida drivers who took the 5 hour trip to Daytona. I will have pictures up as soon as our photographer sends me all the pictures he took. We will do it again next year.

A+++ event so far, and I still have one day to go. Mr. Gilbert has once again come through with a fun and safe event at a spectacular track! My hat's off to HOD and the quality of their organization.

First time at Daytona. Insane. Loved it. It is going to take a week to wipe this silly grin off my face. Obviously, its not a technical track, but I like hauling ass and, my goodness, did I get to do a bunch of that. Winding the car out on the world-famous banking made me feel like a real race car driver, and that is what tracking is all about for me. I loved it. Thanks, Henry and Adam at HOD. Curious mix with the Audi Club folks but it all worked out in the end. The track officials etc. at the event were top notch.

Anyone know the protocol on renting a garage bay at Daytona this weekend? My first time at this track and am hoping to get there early enough to get a good spot. Is it first come first serve?

Jack, whatever do you mean? I do only have a Miata, and if you look inside it looks almost stock! Beside, I'm even my own weight penalty! LOL... I can't wait either, this will be my first time at Daytona!!!

I'm just about excited as a six year old at five in the morning on Christmas Day hoping he get's the first Go-Kart he wished for! I can't wait, and I'm also glad to see that Mr. Juan "I Just Have A Miata" Gomez will be there also. :)
