Group Posting Standards

From: Jay

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the great meetup turnout. I hope everyone benefited.

Due to the growing USF student base in our group I find it necessary to institute one standard. There is a fiduciary duty to assure the content of our group is high quality and does not lead to confusion.

First, all questions, comments about trading are still welcome! I want to encourage open dialog.

I would like to encourage our more seasoned traders to contribute their journals daily in our discussion. It is a valuable tool for new traders to be exposed to proven systems.

Thomas had been posting daily in the discussion. If you would like to see an example of a proper posting,  besides that presented in my daily journal, please go to the archive and view one of Thomas' older posts. I am hoping he will resume them when he is feeling better!!

However, from this point forward, comments about individual trades, set ups, entries or exits must meet the following educational standard:

  • A fairly solid explanation of the system (within reason of course) being used, a complete description of the recognition of set up, why the trade was entered and why the exit was chosen.

Posts that do not meet this standard will be deleted without comment. Posts of this nature may lead to confusion or false perception of trading and are not helpful. For people to benefit they also be taught the method behind the madness. Everyone is encouraged to share, but the method must be included.

This is a clear and fair standard, I am sure you will all agree.
