Slavery No More provided experts on the panels in order for attendees to get resources, strategize, and go to booths in order to volunteer and learn about that organization.
The testimony by survivors and law enforcement was at times emotional, but gave me hope in wanting to work at abolishing modern day slavery.

If abolishing modern slavery appeals to you - I'd love to fill you in on our work fighting back the legal brothels expansion since 1987. We beat back a proposition to expand into CA in 1988 in fact, and a huge push to expand into Vegas in 2013. Because of the internet however, this is not a fight we can continue alone. Contact us anytime at www.sexworkersanonymous.com We have clips up on us at www.hightechmadam.com and interviews at www.leavingtheliferadio.com

It was a good to see so many people working together. I did miss the medical professional break out session. Did anyone participate?

I live in Orange county. ca and came up for friday's session. Didn't really know anyone from the meetup group. Met the FBI agent I was coordinating with for a trafficking victim and got re-acquainted with Rick Serrato who I knew from working at DOJ. Didnt attend the medical session, didn't get a hot lunch either
