Present Moment, Wonderful Moment Meditation Group
Join us this Sunday evening (7pm) to enjoy the relaxation, clarity and healing that comes from the practice of focusing all your attention on being fully present for each moment as it unfolds.
Our minds spend most of the time caught in thoughts about the future or about the past, often generating stress. At our meditation group you will learn how to bring your full attention to the present, and experience the richness of the here and now.
Cultivating the ability to experience the inner stillness of your presence independent of our thoughts is a foundational skill for manifesting the transformation we seek in our lives.
You will leave this group with both the experience of and the instructions to return to the stillness of the present moment.
Our meditation group meets weekly on Sunday evenings, 7-9pm.

This is a perfect group for first timers and advanced practitioners alike, from any faith or tradition. We will offer meditation instruction at the beginning of each gathering. The benefits of meeting together is the experience of peer support on our path of awakening while relaxing and renewing ourselves in preparation for the week ahead.
The group meets for two hours. The time is divided roughly a third meditation, a third dharma teaching from a book or audio, and a third discussion.
The teachers we draw on are Thich Nhat Hanh and Jack Kornfield.
This group is free, donations gratefully accepted to support the space and expenses.
