Hi & Welcome.

The need was for a social outing in a private, semi-public setting which newcomers would not feel threatened about. Meetup was the nearest "off the shelf" organization which could feed into dozens of other networks, some organized, some decidedly not, who may benefit from a social, loose group.

We then set about working out what the TG group would be about... If you've not seen the "Home Page", here it is again:

* to meet, chat & socialize with like-minded CDs/TGs in a safe, warm atmosphere;

* to exchange views, offer support, learn & enjoy each other's company;

* to make new friends who understand and care;

* to be outrageous, wildly wicked or deliciously demure as the mood takes you, with people you can trust;

* to discuss identity and any issues with others who know & understand on your level

*Girls - given part of our aim is to encourage or facilitate those to come on out maybe we say some profile info (i.e. no just joining like some) and a photo must accompany your joining application.

* We Welcome New Members from Interstate & Overseas. Please visit us when you are in Melbourne

*MALE ADMIRERS must be invited by a FRIEND TO JOIN and must have a PHOTO on Application and it is not an open pick up/pervert site so no inappropriate comments.

*If our beliefs fit in with what you'd like to see & do (or you can suggest more, of course), then join us please give some details in your application as refusal sometime offends.

*This site is for all those transgender persons interested in TRANSGENDERED issues and people.
