Hey Toronto Transhumanists! Let's get together and discuss those new and nascent technologies that are working to de-biologize ourselves and move us to something beyond.

This gathering will offer a quick look at where the various purveyors of sensual augmentation (or nonsense'ual' frills) are taking us, in our quest toward being actual actuated beings.

I don't want to debate anything, I just want to unify what are essentially two groups that are relatively similar as I think we can offer each other a lot. I invite you to join the Toronto Cryonics meetup group so you can be notified of upcoming meetings. I'd love to meet more Toronto transhumanists

i think that this group has been inactive for some time partly because of the dual nature of the group/subject; some of the group, myself included are interested in speculating on the imminent transition from biological beings to mechanical/electro
"people", and the others are preoccupied with trying to bring immortality to frozen bags of water. I am happy to discuss anything to do with the future, but am not drawn to debates.

Would anyone be interested in having a new meetup? I am hosting the Cryonics meetups and would love to invite members of this group.

Interesting ideas, I wouldn't mind a few upgrades.

Directions: 170A Baldwin Street is in Kensington Market, above Grafitties Bar & Grill, right next to Cobb's Bread. Look for the inset black door to the left of the bar, open it, climb the stairs and you've arrived!

Hi. I'm new to the group. I was wondering if the upcoming meetup might be coming anytime soon. Any time frame?
