Re: [Spoilrr] Spoilrr: pervasive experiences, videos & Xmas.

I was thinking just a regular get-together in a bar :)
But Dee has a cool idea - maybe we can combine the two? For example, bring a DVD, URL or some other cool (related) gift and pop it into a box at the start of the evening and then at the end we'll all dip into the box and pull out a Xmas surprise!?
I think that could be a lot of fun.

Thanks for organizing the event. ?Xmas drink up sounds interesting. But, I'd rather talk to each other about our projects than watch third-party clips, unless there was a separate room for that. ?Or maybe start off with people showing or speaking about their work/projects/businesses (2-3 minute max) . Then people can break out to mix, discuss, question and drink with creators as they wish.

Of course you'd need a venue for that. Otherwise meeting at an interesting bar would be cool.

Cheers,

Sorry I had to miss it, thanks for the video!

A December social event sounds great! Maybe each person can bring the URL or DVD of a favorite or interesting clip or short? -Dee

Thanks to everyone who showed at the last meetup - great presentations and discussion!

Here's Aline's video of Ben's presentation?http://vimeo.com/17454010

BTW, for anyone that's not had a chance to check it out, Transmedia Storyteller is a great community for creative people seeking to create engaging experiences.

Anyone with thoughts for December? Maybe a Xmas drink-up?

best?
Rob
