Meet me at Cosecha in Swan's Market for lunch. Everything is made from scratch including homemade tortillas, pastries, and complex traditional entrees, as well as seasonal salads and soups. Chef/Owner Dominica Rice-Cisneros has been cooking professionally in the Bay Area, Mexico City and New York for the past seventeen years. She worked at Chez Panisse, Eccolo and Restaurant Soleil in the Mexican capitol.
Lunch can be quite reasonable under $10 with such entrees as tacos, quesadillas, tortas and blood orange kumquat salad.
Then we'll walk over to J.C. Cellars and Dashe Cellars for wine tasting at 55 4th St. They're both in the same building. They do charge $5 for tasting which isn't too bad considering some in Napa charge more.
