A broad cross-section of information was presented. Good sharing among the participants.

Had to cancel, staying later for work. This looks like a great presentation, wish I did not have to miss it.

I guess I thought this was at 5:30, not 6:30. I'll opt out since the numbers keep growing, but I hope you'll host another one of these meet ups soon. Thank you!

Hi again, everyone. Let's plan on keeping this week's event at the hostel with thoughts towards larger venues on the next go around. I'll message each person who rsvp'd to ask for confirmation to see who is still planning to attend. Thanks!

Hello everyone! It's so great to see a lot of interest in the upcoming World Travel 101 presentation at HI-Madison. If you've been to the hostel before, you know that the space is small. Unfortunately, only about 20 people can fit (and a cozy fit, at that) in the hostel living room where the presentation will be. Please be prepared for tight quarters, and possibly a "standing room only" situation. If you are unable to attend this presentation, and there is still a lot of interest, perhaps we can think about doing a World Travel 101 at the hostel every other month or so. Thoughts?

Hi Megan - is there a way, you can send out a confirmation to each attendee asking them if anything has changed to get a more accurate count? - the meet-up I host can get up to a 90% RSVP to attendance...which could have something to do with 1/2 price drinks:) ... We are looking forward to learning more about World Travel!

1/2 price drinks? Nice. :) I'll reach out to folks. Good advice. Thanks, Justin.

We should be okay, in general I've found that about 50% of those that initially say "yes" to an event actually go.

Maybe this should move to the Goodman Community Center or the Wil-Mar Center??? I'm happy to kick in a few dollars for the room. To be cramped will be a big bummer for a great evening like this.

Maybe we get a room for free at one of the local city libraries?
