Donna wanted me to post this for Donna.
Seven people are planning on joining me this summer in France. We have now finalized the details and we have been given an incredible opportunity. Le Boat, a Boat Rental Company in Florida that rents small yachts to Americans, Europeans, and others to tour France and other Countries has given us a tremendous offer. The price I mentioned in my earlier email was for renting the boat in early Spring. The prices for the height of the season in July are much higher about $750 - $900 per 7 days per person. After several days of negotiation and because we are renting for 2 weeks, they are going to rent the boat for to us for an amazing price of approximately $75 per day. This is what you would pay for a moderately priced motel in the USA per night. This price includes lodging, gas, and the rental of the small yacht. At this low price, the airfare for $1,000 to $1,400 to Europe becomes affordable. The trip will be from June 22 until July 6. You can join for 7 days or 14 days, your choice. The trip will be in one of the most beautiful areas of France, the Burgundy Region from Branges to Fontenoy le Chateau. This very picturesque region near Dijon, France gives us the opportunity to tour wineries, visit small villages with cobblestone streets and stone houses dating back centuries, sample cafes and French cuisine, french bakeries, open markets where you can buy fresh produce and meats, and more. We are going to leisurely float down rivers and canals and stop wherever we wish. We can even bring bicycles on board to ride in the country side. I do not mean to sound like a used car salesperson, but this opportunity is one to not be passed up. Tour companies that do not give you this freedom would charge $1,000's of dollars for trip like this and you would not see or experience near what we will be experiencing. The hotel price alone would be about $150 per night. If you are interested in joining us on this trip, please call or email me asap. I can help you get on the trip once I leave the USA, but I would prefer to do it before i go. I am leaving April 9.
There is a planning meeting at my house this Sunday. If you can make the meeting, please email me to discuss this opportunity. [masked]
