Lighting Workshop

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • I totally agree with Norris--we need a lighting workshop especially for those of us who are wanting/needing to learn. Can we get up a small group up geared to those of us who have little to no experience with lighting? We may have to do this several times so that all who want to attend can....

I hope I haven't missed out on this. I've been out of town for about 3 months. I'd gladly drive to Mooresville for this workshop.

As mentioned in the September meeting I am willing to share my studio in Mooresville, NC to accommodate upto 20 members for a lighting workshop. The studio is available for any day between Dec 12th to 23rd. The studio is big enough to set up 4-5 units. I can call for models for whom we can provide traveling allowance.
For those who are a bit confused literally or jokingly about "Lighting or Lightening", essentially "Lighting" is about learning and understanding the different lighting styles we use in portraiture work. The styles include Rembrandt, Loop, Split, Paramount, Broad, Short, High key and Low key.
Mark... please let me know if this will interest our group.
The distance between Greensboro and Mooresville NC is 75miles
on I-85 and max of 1 hour and 30 minutes drive.

I'm all about storm chasing. I have a really nice lightning shot that I took years ago on film. I was so excited to get it.
