THE MAIN GOAL OF OUR GROUP IS TO BECOME BETTER PHOTOGRAPHERS. WE ALL TEACH AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER AT ALL LEVELS.

Active membership includes 30% beginners, 20% established or retired photographers and the other 50% somewhere in between. So all levels are invited. Most use digital point-n-shoot or digital SLR. But nothing we do excludes film/slide users.

We typically spend the first 15 minutes sharing photos we have recently taken - SO PLEASE BRING SOMETHING to share (prints or digital media). And meet some great people who love photography!

In addition we plan on having special outings, photo shoots, training and techniques and other special topics. Often they are local to the Triad or within a couple of hours of the area. Past events have included:

* Lighting and Model Workshop

* Downtown Night Shoots

* Overnight Autumn Camping at Linville Falls

* NC Transportation Museum

* Lazy Five Ranch

This group will allow us to exchange knowledge and ideas, mentor each other, take field trips, network, and, most importantly, meet some cool people who share common interests.
