Like minded folks recharge my batteries - played trumpet and flute back in the day - now listen to all sorts of music - Jazz is creation in the moment and still my favorite.

Seventh Avenue South - intimate setting with good acoustics. Chatted with Wynton Marsalis there during a break. He picked me out when he went back on stage, we locked eyes and did a 'Vulcan Mind Meld' for the whole first number - very powerful.
