Welcome to our Studio! Lets PLAY!

We'll practice studio lighting and posing.

6:15-8:15 p.m.

No experience is necessary to come to the studio photo practice sessions. You just need a DSLR with a standard hotshoe (most dslrs have them).

We will help you with your settings. We have a mix of beginners who don't know how to get out of automatic, to working professional photographers. We help each other!

This is a safe zone - even many professionals need studio experience. We are all here to learn and have fun!

Please note: You are REQUIRED to send 5 nice images of the model. This is the only payment our models receive. Please treat them like a paying customer. Sign your name DISCREETLY on the bottom of your picture. It's fine to watermark your pictures here or on Facebook, but the pictures for the models must be usable for them.

It was a very good evening. Thanks to Chris for setting it up, and the models for being so patient. Also there were some very helpful discussions between the other photographers, which added to the lessons learned.

hey guys
gonna sign up for this one but wanted to add comment here as well

normally I post some of my "best" work here asap after the studio shoots. being a beginner I normally don't have 5 really great shots of each of the models.

I then use what is left as creatively as possible depending on what is "usable" from the image.

#1 question. what if I don't have 5 decent, unique images to give each model?
#2 question. is posting here considered the proper share? if not we need contact info after the shoot.
