Tonight me and Brandon made the best home-made pizza crust ever! It was so easy that it was ridiculous. We used Follow Your Heart Vegan Cheese and our favorite toppings, popped it in the oven and it was so good! I wish I had taken pictures to share.

Here's the crust recipe from VegWeb (

Easy, Yummy and
Quick Pizza Crust
Ingredients (use vegan

1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon yeast
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
or melted margarine (both
work fine)

Preheat oven 425 degrees. Mix
the yeast with the lukewarm
water untill the yeast is
disolved. Let it stand for a
couple minutes. Add the salt
and vegetable oil/melted
margarine. Mix. Add the flour,
and mix. Roll out the dough.
Put it in the oven for 5 minutes.
Take it out and rub margerine
over it. Add toppings, and cook
for 10-15 more minutes.
Serves: 1
Preparation time: 20 min.

Please share your favorite recipes and pictures of recipes (food porn) if you got 'em.

How did I miss this? Your recipe looks great, Heather! I'll have to try it.

I have just now, after 2 years, discovered that FYH cheeses and I can get along if I slice the cheese super, super, super thin. Before this eureka moment of mine, I always sliced the stuff too thick and it would *never* melt. It was like I had to pre-heat the FYH before I cooked anything else! :P I think I had a block of FYH in my freezer for over a year and a half!!

This vegan acorn squash quesadilla recipe helped convert me, though....
