The presenter was sincere and no doubt tried to make a presentation that would be of interest a wide range of attendees including very technical people.

I had heard that WordPress was easy. The presentation made it appear very difficult.

Most of the presentation was incomprehensible to me. And this is from someone who has been on the internet for two decades. -- I don't know Unix and my initial understanding of WordPress is that it was meant for non-techies and that you don't need to understand Unix to use it. Maybe WordPress IS that difficult. If so, then you could say the presentation was good.

I found the presentation depressing and am now looking for another solution.

Good information, good presentation. Could have gone more quickly if installation files were put in place ahead of time. John is a wealth of information.

The lecture was great in that it described wordpress in different aspects. It covered the history, business values, technical requirements, and extensibilities of Wordpress. The speaker had adept knowledge of the tool and answered questions of all levels respectfully. It was nice to meet with people in our industry and to have people attend who a general interest in the web. I'm excited to be apart of the web community in the triad area, and look forward to future meetups!

Not enough time; however, John covered quite a bit for the crowd that was a mix of folks who needed the in depth info and a few that should have attended the previous meeting.
