Introduction

I found out about the meetup group at the RDU Word Camp. Look forward to talking with others interested in web develpment

What do you hope to gain from the Web Meetup?

Hope to meet other people who do web development to help me get up to speed on the latest developments. Also look forward to sharing anything I can to help others in the group.

What about the web inspires you?

I'm amazed at how you can find information on just about anything on the web - and how much easier it is getting to find what you are looking for.

What Tom Esker is saying about this Meetup Group

Great bunch of people. Very friendly, open, talkative group with a wide variety of experience levels. I learn a lot each month.

  • Hi Tom! Welcome to NCO! I saw that you said you are interested in organizing for our group and we appreciate that! We should be posting a social event in the near future and we would love it if you could come. Hope to see you on the trails soon : )

  • Hello Tom,
Welcome to Triad Camping and Travel Group.
We are camping at Myrtle Beach State Park starting Sept. 9 th.
Most people are only camping on the week-end but at least 2 of us are camping for 7 days.

  • Tom, OK if on a leash, well behaved and if the dog can swim. Final destination ( swimming holes) is not very dog-friendly, partly getting down to the swimming hole via the rope, but mainly because of difficulty getting a dog in and out of the water (humans need ropes to get out of the upper end of the lower pool; the falls between the two pools is very slippery; lower edge of the upper pool probably OK for a dog). Also, we have 17 people, so might be a bit crowded at water's edge. Ken

  • Hi, Tom. W-SSOC people like to do all of the same things you do! We got rained on a little on yesterday's hike at the Woods Mtn Trail. Should be better this coming Saturday at Rock Castle Gorge. Hope to see you there. If not, plan to attend our next meeting--American Legion on Miller St, 7 PM. Thurs. 4.21.2011. Ken
