Meditation:  Be With Your True Nature

Friday April 12, 6-7:30pm

Through the many different forms of meditation, we hope to get in touch with our true nature – the state of calm and clear mind, the perfect being of who I am. Our aim in meditation is to experience the truth, especially the truth of our own nature. This session offers the opportunity to practice meditation through movement and rest with sitting, standing, and lying down postures.

Won Buddhism is a modern form of Buddhism which envisions a practice for all people, emphasizing equality between priests and lay practitioners, men and women, all economic groups, and all races.  Great enlightenment is possible without removing oneself from worldliness, and, in fact, living in the world and applying the practice and clarity of the dharma will facilitate awakening as well as transform the world into a paradise.

After the meditation session (7:30-8 PM), the instructors are available for questions or . Led by Rev. WonGong and/or Rev. Lee. Love Offerings Appreciated. No registration necessary. A minimum $5 donation is respectfully suggested.
