Hello all,

This month? we have two meetups scheduled.?

-One at Carborro Coworking in Carborro on March 10, 2010 (tomorrow). Doors open at 6:30, with the presentation starting at 7:00pm.

Simon is scheduled to talk to discuss AJAX and Server side code.? If he cant make it, we'll discuss PDO followed by Q/A.

Meeting is held here ->

-The other, at Bronto is scheduled for March 16th. Doors open at 6:30, with the presentation starting at 7:00pm.

Roger Booth decided to to lead our next meetup at Bronto focusing on MySQL.

Before you throw away the binary logs that you use for replication, transform them into an analysis tool. Use them to track the frequency of inserts, updates and deletes on all of your tables. Maintain a history of the response times of your most frequent write queries.? As well as some other tools for analyzing your database.

Meeting is held here ->

Main presentations usually last around an hour, and we generally take another 30-60 minutes for main topic Q&A, along with general Q&A, problem solving, and socializing at the end of the meeting time.

RSVP via email to me at [address removed] or at the mysql meetup site http://mysql.meetup.c....

Looking forward to seeing you all again (and meeting a few new faces too!)

As always refreshments are provided, donations are accepted.

If you are interested in leading a discussion let me know.

Best Regards,

The Tripug Organizers
