Title: Software Analyst
Location: Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Ft. Bragg, NC

Description: Under general supervision, analyzes, troubleshoots and maintains production software/web applications on their hosting servers for the Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works. Applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques to the solution of complex problems and assignments. Assignments require originality, ingenuity and the use of independent judgment. May have frequent contacts inside and outside of the Company. Works directly with Project Lead and Software Engineers to maintain optimal server operation for software/web applications, apply software patches/updates, perform database maintenance, develop adhoc fixes to applications and perform adhoc queries/reports to answer data calls. Works directly with system and network administrators to ensure software adheres to Army rules and regulations. Works closely with DPW management, DPW government personnel and other contract on-site personnel, under the direction of the Fort Bragg DPW Project Lead.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in IT related discipline; or Associates Degree in IT related technical discipline with 2 or more years of applicable experience. Must hold current certification in a software development or system administration related computing environment (CE). Current Security + certification preferred. Will be required to obtain Security+ certification within first month of employment. Must be prepared to maintain these certifications and be willing to obtain additional certification(s) in the future as required by US Army or Intergraph Government Solutions. Previous software development, web application development and SQL-based database design experience preferred. Experience with DoD system administration preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visual Studio development preferred. Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a National Agency Check Investigation (NACI).
