Trivia at Buffalo Brothers on Lake Boone Trail

Take a break from December holiday preparations (winter solstice, Newton's birthday, or any other holidays you choose to celebrate) and come play some team trivia!

All Skeptics of high school age or older are invited to come be a part of our team. The competition starts at 7:00 but many of us will arrive closer to 6:30 to eat and/or socialize before the game.

If you sign up and your plans change, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that someone else can take your place on the team. We also need an accurate head count for the restaurant. Thanks for your consideration!

    Hints for tonight's trivia:

"Welcome to the last full week before Christmas! Hopefully by now, all of you who are fans of the holiday specials have gotten your fill of those TV classics that networks broadcast year after year. Of course there are always the obligatory choir performances you end up going to because a family member or friend is performing. Those are always fun because they always pick out a carol for you to sing along with and they end up doing all the verses and you end up just mouthing sounds because you don't know the words to the next verse. Despite all of the holiday cheer, some of you are still a Grinch and will stay home and watch Wheel Of Fortune instead of participating. Tonight we would like you to explain to us what is so great about your favorite TV game show. Bring the home (board game) version of your favorite show and 30 points at the end of Round 3 will be yours."

(I'll be bringing a CD for a different bonus opportunity.)

Do you think it's one game per team or will we get multiple awards if 30 points if the team brings multiple games?

Usually it's only one bonus per team. Good thought though!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
