It's time for our annual tradition!!

I've been hard at work trying to find us another dark and disturbing play for our annual Anti-Valentine's Day play event (ok, inside joke, I am kidding!!).

The last four year's we've had play events around the time of Valentine's Day. It's an event for those without valentine's, those who hate valentine's day or those with valentine's that don't want to do any of the overpriced 'romantic' options for the weekend.

The plays we've seen in years past ranged from thought-provoking, entertaining, disturbing, perplexing and funny. We never know what we're going to get!

This year we'll be seeing a play at Raleigh Little Theatre called Bus Stop. Their website describes the play as a comedy/drama. "A freak snowstorm has halted the progress of a bus and its few passengers, forcing them to take shelter in a diner for several hours in the dead of night. Based on Inge’s earlier one-act play, People in the Wind, this story involves a pair of young lovers struggling to find love in the modern world, and how spending a few hours together impacts the lives of ordinary people. A blizzard tale – with a heart-warming guarantee."

I don't know that we've seen a 'heart-warming' play before! Be still my heart!

RLT is a reserved seating theatre, so this event will be pre-pay thru Paypal. I will then purchase the groups tickets so we get seating together. Cost is $24 including the Paypal fee or for seniors (age 62 and up) or students (bring your ID to the play) $17. The default is set to $24.Please let me know if you need a student/senior ticket!

After the matinee, we will head over to Abyssinia for Ethiopian food for dinner and to socialize. I will set that event up separately.

Please pay your ticket price when you RSVP Yes. All Yes RSVPs and ticket fees must be received by noon on January 28th so I can get us the best seats possible!

I look forward to seeing you, the play and noshing on some kik alicha (yellow split peas)!

I'm going to keep it simple and not post a separate meetup for dinner. I don't want to get involved in planning when others might be able to meet us and I think it' me nice to keep it to just the play folks. Unless you tell me otherwise I'll assume you are in for dinner (plus Emerson who is working the play) and I'll give Abyssinia a heads up.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
