How about a frivolous comedy and then some dinner? Dinner location will be announced later and based in part on the number of attendees.
We'll be seeing a play at Raleigh Little Theatre called The Importance of Being Earnest.
"Comedy. A rousing romantic escapade and absurd comedic masterpiece about class and etiquette. In a stylish send-up of Victorian courtship and manners, charming bachelors Jack and Algernon lead double lives to woo the two young ladies who have won their hearts. When they are caught in their lies, the stage is set for clever manipulations and hilarious confusion.
Oscar Wilde dishes up scathing social satire, effervescent wit, and high farce, making this one of the most cherished plays in the English language."
RLT is a reserved seating theatre, so this event will be pre-pay ar time of RSVP thru Paypal. I will then purchase the groups tickets so we get seating together. Cost is $21 including the Paypal fee or for seniors (age 62 and up) or students (bring your ID to the play) $17. The default is set to $21. Please let me know if you need a student/senior ticket!
After the matinee, we will head over to a soon to be determined location for dinner and to socialize.
Please pay your ticket price when you RSVP Yes. All Yes RSVPs and ticket fees must be received by noon on April 13th so I can get us the best seats possible!
I look forward to seeing you, the play and noshing on some veg food!
PS _ If your plans change, you may receive a refund if I have NOT purchased the tickets yet - so before April 13. After that you will be responsible for finding someone to buy your ticket if you can no longer attend.
Edit - after the show we will head over to Remedy Diner for dinner. The 6 RSVPs plus Emerson and Jen make us 8 - so no one else can join us. Sorry! They will most llikely seat us outside on the patio - so layer those clothes!
