NCMA outdoor movie: Lincoln

  • August 10, 2013 · 8:00 PM

For those who haven't seen Lincoln yet (like me) this should be a fun NCMA Summer Movie on the lawn.

If you'd like to picnic as well, bring your own entree and feel free to also bring a little something else to share.  NCMA has beer and wine available to purchase (so you can't bring in your own).
Our picnic will start ~8pm; the movie starts at 9pm, but you'll want to arrive a little early to account for parking & waiting in line.  Don't forget your camp chair or beach towel.

Admission:  $5

I am already hearing thunder out there and Rob just bailed because it is storming in Cary.

I thought I'd better change my RSVP as it looks like it's going to rain - and I don't want to be a no-show!

If you are going to purchase your tickets on the night of the movie, the paved parking lot (The one that is on the back side of the museum, not on Blue Ridge) is going to put you closest to the box office. If you park at the road frontage gravel lot, you just walk down a long sidewalk past the new wing to the box office. Either will be fine, really.

Do we park in the Museum lot? Any particular area of the parking lot? Would anyone like to carpool?

Actually if I'm not travelling it's likely I'll be there with another group, so I'll see you guys there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
