Sorry, I thought I had posted this a couple days ago. This is a Head up - not an official meetup. The following is from member Alex: Helping Paws, a student organization at UNC Chapel Hill, cordially invites you to their Fashion Show on Saturday, November 20th at 7:00 PM. Helping Paws is a volunteer organization, whose efforts focus on bettering the lives of animals in Orange County and beyond. Our dedicated volunteers walk dogs, socialize cats, and bring these animals on outreach events to promote their adoption. Helping Paws works closely with Orange County Animal Services and their shelter in Chapel Hill, and is currently helping fund their Spay & Neuter Program. The event will take place at the Great Hall of the Frank Porter Graham Student Union. Student models, community members, and service animals will strut down the runway to raise money for the Spay & Neuter Program. The event will include free food and a Silent Auction with items featuring an Authentic Signed Tarheel Basketball, a Framed Photo of Kenan Memorial Stadium, and other assorted gift baskets. General admission is $7 and tickets for children under the age of 18 are $4. Tickets can be purchased through Helping Paws members or can be purchased and put on hold at the Student Union's Box Office for pick-up the day of the show using Visa or Mastercard. Please call (919) 962- 1449 for tickets. All proceeds from the evening will benefit to Orange County Animal Services. It is going to be a fun and exciting evening, and we hope to see you there!
