Patrick Jane's Gourmet Pizza Bar

Local. Organic. Fresh. Friendly. This is how Patrick Jane's is described on their web page http://patrick-janes.com/. They have a full line of vegan pizzas, vegan pizza toppings and gluten free pizzas. They have received great reviews so far, and I am looking forward to going there.

As always remember to order vegan or vegetarian food at our meet ups. Also please rsvp yes only if you truly feel you can come. We want to make a good impression for the restaurants where we meet up. If you find your plans change, please log in and remove your rsvp. Please remember to bring an leftover container if you plan to take home leftovers.

Service was very attentive and the food was good. I agree with Helen - the vanilla cupcake was delicious. Enjoyable company as usual!

The vanilla cupcake was incredibly delicious! I want to figure out how to make it.

The great surprise, following the pizza, was an assortment of about 6-8 vegan desserts, from delightful cookies to decadent cupcakes. The service was just fine, especially for a Saturday evening -- I think we must have had a dedicated server for our group of 13. The food was good, and we all got just what we ordered. A fine evening.

Have been there twice.... High priced and not that good . Asked for a fork after waiting a very long time and was told they don't have any... The table next to us was using a set asked them if they brought it from home they said no. Must add it was not busy at the time either. Hope you have a better experience:-)

Gretchen - I'm sorry you feel that Stephanie was being combative, but that's how I felt about your response to my comment in the first place, so maybe we're both just experiencing the fact that written comments can sometimes come across as more harsh than they are intended to be? As an assistant organizer myself who hasn't set anything up in a while, I can only imagine all that Stephanie has to manage being the organizer for the whole group while having her own life, and knowing Stephanie, I'm sure she didn't intend to de-humanize you any more than I'm sure you intended to do the same to me with your comment even though I felt hurt by it. I was glad to see you closed with a message of compassion, Gretchen, which I echo, and I hope to meet you someday and get to know you better.

I'm not sure how anyone can interpret me asking us to be kind to each other as combative. Please take my comment in the spirit it was intended. Everyone should also take a step back when making comments and think about how tone is not involved in the written word and consider how they may be interpreted.

Just an FYI that I have removed Ngiare (sorry, I know I'm misspelling), because it clearly states when you join that your intent is to socialize and not promote your business. Let's also keep in mind that differing opinions can both be right - they are that person's experience. Thank you.

Just as an FYI, the TCBY located a few doors down from Patrick Jane's should at last one vegan frozen yogurt flavor.

Hi everyone, I just learned that Patrick Jane's gluten free pizza crust is not vegan. The regular crust is vegan but not the gluten free one.

Hi Jody you are correct our only true vegan offering is our current regular organic white crust, not GF. We have done some testing and it was successful with some customers giving it a thumbs up, however we are mindful as a new business of taking on more then we can handle production wise, we need to be able to offer a high quality consistent product, if we choose to offer it I will be sure to let the group know, I hope you understand

molly and Nancy -- so sorry your experience didn't match my own, but i'd hate for you to miss this if you're available, so, if you're willing to give them another try, i will gladly and gleefully pick up up the tab. May I add a +2 to my own RSVP? Either way, Jody or I can communicate to the owner (who was delightful when I was there) that there are concerns, which ought to assure we have the best treatment. I love the idea of independent local businesses, so I'd like this to work out for you.

I've had vegan pizza from Patrick Jane's twice, once dining in and once take-out, and I can say I think it's pretty good.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
