Nosh Restaurant in Durham participated in last October's Bull City Vegan Challenge and had some pretty yummy pancakes in the competition. Since then they have been occasionally having vegan pancakes, but never with much or any notice. After myself and some others asking for them for a while, there is BIG NEWS!!!
Nosh has decided to feature vegan pancakes on their menu every Saturday until 3pm!!! 10 of us enjoyed these pancakes on Sept 10 - let's show our continued support!
By supporting vegan pancakes at Nosh we ensure that we and omnivores have a cruelty free breakfast option! It's breakfast AND activism. : ) I'm posting this at 11:00 so we all have plenty of time to head to the Farmer's Markets and buy our produce for the week. : )
As always, please consider your RSVP carefully. This is a popular event - so don't RSVP Yes unless you are sure you can attend. Also I will be letting Nosh know how many of us are coming, so let's support their efforts and not raise their ire by having a bunch of no shows. Please don't cancel with less than 24 hours notice - thanks!
Also, if you think you may have leftovers, please bring your reusable container - let's be stewards of the environment as well!
Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can sit outside - they have some nice patio seating. We'll see how cool it is by then.
Well behaved children are welcome at this event. I suppose we can keep our language PG at breakfast, right? ; )
If you can't make this date or just also want to go another date, I encourage you! If you'd like it to be a meetup, just let me know! I'd love for Nosh to make this a permanent thing!
